Green food

September is the season for green food. Green oranges and green grapefruit start to fill the market stalls, and most exciting, bright green avocados hang from the trees like jewels.

After sunny mango season I'm looking forward to avocado season, and I'm enjoying the opportunity to eat fruit that's in season and picked fresh from a nearby tree.
