Just a short post to introduce you to my newest African phrase.
'I'm running for time' - i.e. 'I am walking fast as I am running late'.
It works very well when people are calling out to you on the street and you don't really want to greet them because a) you don't know them, b) they want something from you, or c) they want to marry you. And most of the time, all three.
